On a Wednesday or Friday the Louvre stays open until 9pm, and some evenings add more: a concert at 8pm, free entry for everyone, or the museum's own Friday tours. Planning a louvre night tour round one of them? Here is every dated evening from October 2026 to June 2027.

The concert season runs from 7 October 2026 to 22 January 2027, alongside the Zurbarán exhibition. The free evenings fall on the first Friday of each month except July and August. Both bring more people into the museum than an ordinary late night.
The museum's concert hall, the Auditorium Michel Laclotte, sits under the Pyramid. Its autumn season, "Centuries of Gold and Shadow", is five centuries of Spanish music in five evenings, every one at 8pm on a late night.
Wednesday 7 October 2026, 8pm
Who: Ensemble Cantoria, directed by Jorge Losana.
What: The young Spanish Baroque vocal ensemble's first concert at the Louvre, opening the Zurbarán exhibition with music from the end of Spain's Golden Age.

Wednesday 25 November 2026, 8pm
Who: Arcángel and the Quatuor Diotima.
What: One of the great flamenco singers of his generation with a string quartet, in music by Mauricio Sotelo, Ondřej Adámek and Ravel.

Friday 4 December 2026, 8pm
Who: Tanguy de Williencourt, piano.
What: Granados's Goyescas, a homage to the museum's Goya paintings, and passages from Mompou's Música Callada inspired by the painter's work.

Wednesday 13 January 2027, 8pm
Who: Jordi Savall and Hespèrion XXI.
What: Early Iberian music on the viola da gamba, by Diego Ortiz, Gaspar Sanz, Francisco Guerrero and Santiago de Murcia.

Friday 22 January 2027, 8pm
Who: Thibaut Garcia and friends.
What: The French classical guitarist and friends close the Zurbarán exhibition with Albéniz and Quiroga.

On the first Friday of the month the museum is free for everyone from 6pm, except in July and August. You still book a time slot, and the evening is busier than any other late night.

If the free evening is the point, arrive for 6pm and head away from the Denon wing first. If a quiet evening is the point, pick a Wednesday or a Friday later in the month.
The top evening tours bring the ticket and a route through the crowd. Compare them, then check your date.
They are the cheapest guided evening you can have, and they run only on Fridays. For the differences from a private guide or a group of six, see every way to spend the evening.
During the French school holidays the museum adds daytime sessions of its away-from-the-crowds tour, at 10:30am and 2:30pm on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and keeps the Friday 6pm session.
Last entry to the museum is 8pm, the hour the concerts begin. So a tour and a concert on the same night only fit if the tour ends by about 7:30pm. The private family tour starts at 5:30pm and runs two hours, and ends inside; the three-hour private tour from 6pm does not fit.
On a free first Friday, 4 December 2026, the piano recital from Zurbarán to Goya falls on the same evening. Give yourself time for the crowd at the door.

A licensed guide leads up to six of you through the galleries in the last hours before the museum closes, with reserved access and the ticket in the fare. Arrive 15 minutes early at the equestrian statue; food and drinks are not included.
