The museum is one building, but a big one, with some 73,000 square metres of galleries, and "meet at the Louvre" is not an address. Your confirmation names one of the three points below.

The Cour Napoléon is the big courtyard round the glass Pyramid, open from 7:30am to 9pm. A copy of the equestrian statue of Louis XIV stands beside the Pyramid. The evening tours that meet under it are the private late-opening tour, the group of six that runs up to closing, and the private tour in eight languages. The group of six asks you to be there 15 minutes early; the eight-language guide wears a licensed-guide badge.
From here the Pyramid entrance is a few steps away, which is why these tours lose least time on the walk in.
The Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel is the small triumphal arch on place du Carrousel, between the Pyramid and the Tuileries Garden. It is not the Arc de Triomphe at the top of the Champs-Élysées, so type the full name into a phone map. The three-hour private tour meets at the foot of the arch at 6pm, facing the Pyramid, and ends back there. The private family tour meets there at 5:30pm, with a sign carrying your name.
This is the meeting point travellers miss. One spent 15 minutes circling the arch before finding the guide; another arrived 45 minutes early and still had a stressful start. Stand on the side that faces the Pyramid and keep your phone on.

The group of six from the metro exit meets at the Palais-Royal – Musée du Louvre station (lines 1 and 7), at the exit on rue de Rivoli, by a sign reading VOYAGE. Arrive ten minutes early. The two hours include the walk across to the museum and the security check.
Your guide picks the entrance, but it helps to know which doors are still open after 6pm.

The Porte des Lions, on the river side, is shut for the whole evening. The Passage Richelieu takes guided groups of up to six until 7:30pm, which suits a tour that starts early. After that every evening visitor goes in by the Pyramid or the Carrousel entrance under the shopping arcade.
The museum reckons ten minutes on foot from the metro to the Pyramid entrance.
Taxis drop off at the Carrousel roundabout and pick up on place André Malraux, north-west of the museum across rue de Rivoli. That is also the nearest rank when you leave at closing.
At 9pm the hall under the Pyramid empties into the Cour Napoléon. From there it is a short walk north to the metro on rue de Rivoli, or west through the Arc du Carrousel towards the Tuileries, open until 9pm from April to October and 11pm in summer.
